From 16.12.2024 to 1.1.2025, the so-called “Artists’ Days” took place at the Free College of Spirituality in northern Trentino. Above the municipality of Comano Terme, in the mountains, lies the small village of Lundo and half an hour’s walk up through the forest to the landscaped forest clearing “Naone”, which is the seat of the independent college. https://www.naone.it/

During the “artists’ days”, which fall within the Raunächte and Rauntage, people meet there who are all guided by the desire to create uplifting forces through their work, be it music, painting, working with language and poetry, cooking, yoga exercises, nature and light observations, work with spiritual texts and other things.
The idea of how this work can take shape in a rhythmic interaction of the most diverse people and subject areas and how forces can be centered and made available to the world as forces of peace is based on the spiritual teacher Heinz Grill and is implemented and developed by all interested parties in an exploratory manner.

What I would now like to describe is a phenomenon that I had never experienced with this intensity before. On the first day of the New Year, working as part of the healing research kitchen team that introduced and enriched the guests with dishes from all over the world, I looked at the natural landscape, the sky and the plants and was deeply touched by the work and light that revealed itself that day. In the language of spiritual science, this working and revealing phenomenon is called the “warmth ether”. The landscape appears three-dimensional and comes towards the observer, the light is powerful and calming. Observing light can be a wonderfully enriching research task.

I wanted to put this feeling and this experience into words.

On this day, the sky and light prevail for many hours, the intensity and infinite blueness of which penetrate the heart like a deep calm. The sky looks as three-dimensional as a dome, characterized by deep blue, without a cloud. Wherever the gaze is directed skywards, blue, radiant, unclouded blue.

It touches the earth gently and naturally, the hilltops, the forests, the houses. A clear and harmonious transition, a sensitive, soft touch reveals itself to the eye, and the light of the sky shines in the same way in the landscape, which under this blue sky enjoys the variety of shapes of the mountains and valleys, the furrows and forests, the meadows and plants of a deep, frosty winter’s day.

The rosemary bush glistens and sprouts up high, permeated with light and life right down to the core of its needle-like leaves, radiating them out into the sphere at the same time. Deep peace. A touching beauty of deep tranquillity that gives the viewer the feeling that the world is calm, creation enjoys its ennobled beauty, all of nature weaves in an infinitely harmonious connection, nothing is separate and peace breathes from every stalk, every mountain dome and every human heart. Not a breath of air, nature shines in silence, without a sound it proclaims depth and vastness under the radiant blue vault of the sky. And peace enters the human heart, the breath is filled with peace in this sphere of enchanting, centering light. If you look into the distance, over to the mountains and into the valley, there seems to be an additional shimmer in the air, a fine, almost silvery veil, transparent, as if the air were not just clear air, but refined in its quality.
